Tale of the Sale - A Smooth Transition on Silver Spruce Drive

When Marilyn decided it was time for a new chapter, she didn’t have to look far — just down the street. After purchasing her new home at 19 Silver Spruce, she asked if I could help her sell her longtime residence at 1 Silver Spruce Drive.

Having lived there for nearly two decades, Marilyn’s home held countless memories. Our first step was preparing it for the market: decluttering, painting, and organizing to make sure every room was ready to shine. Because her new home purchase was contingent on selling this one, time was of the essence — and teamwork was key.

The summer market brought a few delays, but with patience and persistence, we found the right buyers — who were referred to me by my neighbors, Bob and Cheryl Moore. Interestingly enough, those buyers also had to sell their own home in Steamboat Springs, creating a three-home domino of transactions that all had to close in perfect alignment.

With clear communication, dependable vendors, and trust on all sides, we kept everything running smoothly. Only one small inspection item came up, which Marilyn took care of quickly, and before long, we were celebrating another successful closing.

Today, Marilyn is happily settled into her new home at 19 Silver Spruce — and her buyers at 1 Silver Spruce have joined me as new neighbors.

This Tale of the Sale is proof that when trust, communication, and relationships lead the way, even the most complex closings can come together beautifully.
