Sometimes everything has to line up just right — and when it does, it's worth every bit of the work it took to get there.
These buyers are good friends of mine. We've worked together before, and they're genuinely great people — active in the community, fun to be around, and clear about what they wanted. They were ready for a change: more space, more land, better views, and a home that matched where they were in life. So we started looking.
It didn't take long to find the one.
Out on County Road 260 sat a gorgeous log home with incredible views and plenty of land. They went to see it and fell in love immediately. The only question was how to make it happen — because first, they needed to sell their home on F Street.
We wrote a home sale contingency offer on County Road 260. It was a strong offer, and the timing worked in our favor: the seller had been on the market for a while without receiving a single offer. He was ready to say yes to something solid, and that's exactly what we brought him.
With the contingency accepted, my buyers wasted no time. They got to work getting F Street ready for market — and they were motivated, because they absolutely did not want to lose County Road 260. They priced their home to move, prepared it well, and it went under contract quickly. The location helped, but so did their attitude. They did what needed to be done.
Now they're moving into a dream log home with sweeping views, open land, and a property that fits the life they've been working toward.
