Please describe the what this event offers to visitors.

The SST artists offer an extremely diverse experience. We have woodturners, woodworkers, painters, printmakers, metal workers, sculptors, fiber artists, quilters, glass artists (fused, blown, & mosaic), clock makers, instructors, mosaicists, furniture makers, and more.

Is there anything special you would like to feature about this year’s event?

During the 2021 SST, visitors can enter to win 1 of 10 gift certificates worth $100 each, to be spent on artwork from your favorite SST artist! The more studios you visit, the more chances you will have to win. There are 28 SST artists this year so you can enter 28 times if you visit every studio on the tour.

Tell us a little about your background and who you are. 

Salida Studio Tour (SST) is an annual event in Salida, CO. It provides locals and tourists the opportunity to meet 28 local artists - and to step inside their unique studios.

What motivated you to start the Salida Studio Tour?

There are so many working artists in Salida that don’t normally have their studios open to the public. This event gives those artists a chance to introduce themselves.

What are the most important details we need to know about the event this year?

The 2021 Salida Studio Tour is this weekend (September 25th & 26th) from 10am to 5pm! Be sure to look for our bright yellow signs.
